The cooperation combines ForaCare’s expertise in glucose monitoring devices and Hedia’s innovative diabetes management app, Hedia Diabetes Assistant, to give patients on multiple daily injection (MDI) therapy more comprehensive tools to manage their diabetes.
The solution provides fast insulin recommendations, a comprehensive data dashboard, logbook tracking, reports, favorites, and notifications. The dashboard allows users to track their current blood sugar levels and provides a comprehensive overview of their data, enabling them to make informed decisions. The logbook feature allows users to track the most important data for managing their diabetes, and the reporting feature allows them to generate PDF documents of their data and send them to their healthcare professional.
The integration of ForaCare’s monitoring devices with Hedia Diabetes Assistant allows users to seamlessly transfer their glucose readings into the app, providing them with accurate and up-to-date information. With the favorites feature, users can quickly access their favorite food items in the food database, and the notifications feature allows them to receive alerts when it’s time to remeasure their blood sugar. These features help to ensure that users are monitoring their blood sugar levels regularly and accurately.
